HOW TO USE WEEKLY

STEP ONE: Start with dry hair. Apply a generous amount directly onto your scalp and massage into the crown of your head.

STEP TWO: Work more of the pre-wash down the length of your hair while smoothing evenly throughout but without drenching.

STEP THREE: Hang out for at least 20 minutes — cook dinner, catch up with your bestie or walk your dog.

STEP FOUR: Shampoo and condition as you normally do.

FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Time to Adjust

Being an all-natural product, allow a few weeks for your hair to adjust and really reap the benefits from the prewash. You should be able to see immediate results after your first use. But the real magic of the prewash is using it regularly so you can really build up your hair health.

Scalp Health Is Key

We really encourage you to spend a few minutes massaging your scalp with this prewash. There are studies that show that massaging your scalp every day for a few minutes helps grow healthier, thicker hair. Massaging helps increase blood flow to your scalp, which helps oxygen and nutrients really soak into your hair roots.

How Long to Keep It In For

If 20 minutes is all you got, that's totally fine. But if you can, try to keep it in as long as possible. Sleeping in the prewash overnight is ideal — make a loose braid or top-knot bun after you massage the prewash in and before you hit the pillow.

Go the Extra Mile

After applying the prewash, use a comb to evenly distribute it throughout your strands. Combing also helps stimulate blood flow to your scalp (we have a great one if you're looking!). De-tangling your hair before you jump in the shower helps make sure it gets an even, thorough cleanse and you don't need to deal with brushing out knots while your hair is wet.
