What does a low water content shampoo mean?

Traditional shampoo is made with 70-80% water to dilute and maximize volume, but we wanted to create a more effective shampoo that has no water and better ingredients. Our Ultra Hydrating Turmeric Shampoo uses 20% water and primarily a gentle coconut-acid surfactant to cleanse, turmeric root to soothe, and glycerin to hydrate and balance. This allows you to use less of the concentrated turmeric shampoo, and 1 jar lasts over 2x more than a liquid shampoo bottle.

Will this shampoo lather since it's a cream formula with low water content, and has no sulphates?

Yes! It is formulated with a coconut-derived surfactant (lathering ingredient). Make sure your hands and hair are wet, take a scoop, rub the cleanser between your palms, and it will turn into a luscious lather.

What is the fragrance of the products?

The Turmeric Shampoo and Naram Conditioner both have our signature Himalayan Cloud natural fragrance blend of sandalwood, clary sage, and vetiver.

How frequently should I use these products?

That depends on your scalp and strand type. This shampoo is gentle to use as frequently as you like. If you have oilier roots, use it 1x/week as a moisturizing shampoo. The conditioner can be used as frequently as you like.
